A duplicate title costs $11.00 plus mail/delivery fees along with notary fees.

Only the registered owner can apply for a duplicate title.

All titles are mailed via USPS from a central processing site two business days after they are processed. A good rule of thumb is 5-7 working days from the date of processing by our agency. Expedited shipping is not available.

Starting with the thirty first (31st) day after the notary date on your title, penalty is assessed as follows:

New Vehicle

Penalty is assessed at the rate of $1.00 per day on the excise tax with a maximum of matching the excise tax itself. Penalty is assessed on sales tax at the statutory rate. Penalty is assessed on the tag at the rate of $1.00 per day up to a maximum of $100.00 for 100 days of penalty.

Used Vehicle:

Penalty is assessed at the rate of $1.00 per day on the excise tax with a maximum of matching the excise tax itself. Penalty is assessed on sales tax at the statutory rate. A second penalty on re-registration is assessed at the rate of $1.00 per day with a maximum of $100.00

No. Penalties always apply on the transfer of a vehicle beginning on the thirty first (31st) day after the notary date on your title.
